Cannon ball or shot put ?

Approximately 5 inches in diameter, 18 lbs. on the bathroom scale. Definitely cast iron, found it at the scrap yard today. this thing is solid.

Well thank you Cannonballguy ! Sorry to hear that you’re still sick, hopefully you perk up soon. I really appreciate the help ! As for the rest of you constant readers, I’m sorry for digging up such an old post, you see after my original posting I carried that thing into the bedroom and rolled it under the bed, and promptly forgot about it. The other night I was rooting around under there for my spare slippers and smashed my knuckles off the blasted thing which reminded me that I hadn’t heard from the accepted expert on this forum. So, now I’ve heard and will go about marking this thread solved, so thanks again ! By the way, I ah, found another iron, ah, iron ball.......... I’ll post a new thread.

Okay, can’t seem to find out how to mark this solved, I tap those 3 dots at the top of my screen but don’t get any thread tools. I looked at the beginning of this forum and my page doesn’t look anything like that picture

At the top there should be a thread tools button/link. See below screenshot as it shows the thread tools link, in the screenshot it's about an inch above the word bathroom in your post.

Like I said, my page doesn’t look like that, my page is all white with the post conversations on it. The page has a blue header with the thread title in the middle, time and date on the left and 3 white dots on the right. If I tap the dots I get reply, share, unsubscribe, web view and refresh.
