First picture looked like River Rock?, but the SECOND picture, would not appear to be "Rock" at all. It is a head scratcher.

I gave it a google and didn't find anything conclusive. There is a thread on here form June 9th, 2013 under stone cannon ball. Almost the same stone without the hole, Cannonballguy gave some good info. Everything I could find was all metal cannon balls because of the tolerances needed.
