I have a contact who is looking to buy a cannon, specifically from a shipwreck. Any size - he's willing to consider anything from a swivel cannon to a 42 pounder, brass or iron (not too badly eroded).

Other than what I can find online, I wondered if you might know of someone wanting to sell theirs. Feel free to PM me.

When did you get to Louisiana? I'm behind the times on your travels...

LOL. A year ago. We left NC several years ago to live in Trinidad and Tobago. After two years there, we moved back to NC for a short spell, then moved back here to be close to my aging parents. I grew up here in Louisiana, but left after high school.

Ed Stevens has/had one for sale a few weeks ago, but it seems like he sold it..I will ask tomorrow or as soon as I see him.

There were two pretty badly rusted ones at the Crow's Nest in Stuart a few years ago but they may have more. I'd give them a call.
