Your link didn't work, but I know my 20 something kids don't feel the slightest need to use a check register. And both a financially responsible. They almost never write checks and bank activity is readily available online. Drives me crazy. A different world than I grew up in.

I too come from the era of pre-microwave and pre-ATM machines. But all the technology we have today I welcome with open arms and learn how to use it. Balance a checkbook? Not me. Too much hunting to do.
