Capped Bust Half Dime..

My pals Max and Richie and myself hit an old park surrounded by woods with a few old foundations, a couple old sandstone foundations and one being a simple rock base. Found the wells, but full of trash...this site is littered with LOTS of metal, old fencing etc.. We've recovered a few nice buttons, a silver thimble and other relics in the past. It wasn't until we were just about ready to hang it up when Richie got a choppy, squeaky, deep hit that would flash 84 in one direction. The depth combined with the sloppy, muddy conditions made this a lengthy recovery..and then his mouth flies open...i think he was trying to scream but couldn't lol..just arms raised...mouth wide open...CAPPED!!..CAPPED BUST.!!...more spritzing revealed a beauty of an 1832 Capped Bust Half Dime..Please know that Richie swings an Ace 400, and regularly kicks our butt with it. He also plucked a beauty of a button...we could use help in i.d'ing it...I Googled "8 point star rich gold color", "8 point sunburst star" with no positive results. I settled for a nice silver ring and a cap gun... Thanks very much for looking, Ddf and friends..

Thx Sub! If Richie keeps cleaning house ,I'm going to trade my ATP in for a 400...lol...this kid is HARD CORE all the way, I passed up detecting due to a POURING rain, and when Richie text me pics of his muddy plugs, I at least went and found him and gave him some dry gloves...lol...thx Ddf
