capped silver

[Green1]

nailed it today !!! a 1831 5c piece .... got a 1843 half dime 10 feet away ! both were at 4 in' with the mxt and a 6x9 loop..
the capped came in a loud zink penny hit....
the barber Q is from the day before, and the 42 nickle is from the day b4 that..
been having a blast !!

Any one of those coins would put me over the moon. Even the 2-center, which I've got one of.
Fantastic!

Man, you gotta do some serious research or have some even more serious luck to find good stuff like that. Like my boss yusta say "thats better than chicken!" Seriously, I have never found a bust silver and most likely never wil, living where I do. That is some awesome stuff!

[Green1]

it was just luck,,, i can't do research for the life of me......

well excellent finds! Esp. the capped silver - very hard to come by!
Maybe you're a 'coin witcher' too!

'coin witcher' - someone who MD's but seems to have the ability to know where to find the best coins on any piece of property. Metal detecting dowser - yeah that's it! BTW I'm convinced that I have this ability - luck only goes so far in my book.

HH!
