CaptainFwiffo's October Totals - Kinda Slow
October was a bit of a slow month for me. In particular, dimes were really skunky until the last box of the month.
Dollars:
Searched through $105 in Ikes and found a few minor errors. The only notable find was an American Silver Eagle mixed in. I'll pay $1 an ounce for silver all day!
Halves:
Silver is SLOW!
$2789.50 searched (5 boxes plus 579 loose and CWR)
3 x 40%
3 skunks
28 x NIFC
1991-S and 1979-S impaired proofs
Dimes:
Very slow month for dimes, not really rescued by a single good box.
$2000 searched (8 boxes)
4 x silver FDR (all in the last box)
1 x 1928? partial date Mercury
6 skunks
Nickels:
Steady silver from the nickels this month but only two buffaloes!
$800 searched (8 boxes)
10 x 35% silver war nickels
2 x Buffalo (1926 partial date, 1937 full date)
1 x 2004-P DDO
2 skunks
After last month's festival of errors and rarities, this month was very boring. The older Mercury is cool, but is in appalling condition and not a scarce date.
