taking (good) photographs of cars is harder than you guys make it look but this is what i came out with. I was wondering, how do you guys get the car to seem longer that it actual is? Any tips for car photography?
Thanks Mike! James, shoot me an e-mail @ [email protected] - I'll be more than happy to answer any questions you might have and throw some tips your way. That pic really isn't bad. I've said it once and I'll say it again - I truly am my own worst critic. I have a lot of pics I'm not very happy with, yet some are my most requested work. I've never been "formally" trained - taught myself by talking with older, more experienced folks and lots of trial and error. The best advice I could ever give you though (and it sounds cheesy), is shoot what YOU feel in your heart and in your mind. Too many "photographers" try over and over again to take the "perfect shot" only to wind up frustrated and disinterested in photography altogether. HAVE FUN WITH IT. Try different things. Don't rely on technical mumbo-jumbo. Just have fun. Like I said, shoot me an e-mail and I'll help you out as much as possible.
