Carriage parts?

Any one know how to date carriage or wagon parts or if they are worth anything?I found a pile of what i think is parts from an old wagon. I brought a few pieces home and I plan on using them in my blacksmith projects so I would love to know what era or company they came from if possible and if they would be worth anything to someone before I cut them up and forge them. I found them in the same area as items I can date to the 17-1800's in South shore mass
