Caterpillar Watch Fob & Good Luck Token

I was able to slip out for little hunting over the weekend. As usual, I was accompanied by TNetter, Todd Lipe. I was quite disappointed at not finding any silver coins, however, I was able to find the following junk:

- Beer tap spout.
- 4 Wheaties.
- 2 Great Seal buttons.
- Caterpillar watch fob.
- Worcester Salt token. I have really been wanting to find a swastika good luck coin.
- Anderson's Restaurant parking token. Says "Worlds Best Pecan Pie" on the back.

Thanks for looking, and best of luck on your hunts!

Some history on Anderson's restaurant:
Gary's restaurant, Anderson's at 1617 Elizabeth Avenue, was originally opened by his pop Jimmy and Jimmy's brothers Bill and Pete in 1946.
"There are guys that have been coming here everyday for years and they sit in the same booth -- and people don't sit in those booths because they know they're coming. The waitresses will see them coming through the door and go ahead and get their order ready."
Charlotteans who've been here for more than a few months know Anderson's for their age-old slogan, "the world's best pecan pie." The phrase is even emblazoned on the side of the building just beneath the restaurant's giant neon sign.
The restaurant is still there and you may wish to contact them for more information regarding your token.

I really like that so called junk ,send all of it to me and I WILL PAY THE POSTAGE. The fob and token are super neat. Now, that is not a swastika depicted. In years past that was a good luck symbol.

Cool fob Tom. A big fan of fobs and that one is unique. You texted me that pic of the dirty good luck token and I knew right away what it was. It's amazing the difference of what that symbol meant back then and what it means now. Great finds bud

WTG Tom, you dug some very interesting items.:occasion14: Love the fob, token and good luck coin. They are just as good as pulling 20th century silver in my book. they are way cooler than a silver merc or rosie IMHO.

those good luck tokens are flying out of the dirt. got mine at the "mud pit", a $1 credit on a new suit from a Buffalo, NY clothier. showed it to my LCS and his customer says "will you take $20 for it?". SOLD. nice digs, silver is sweet, but relics are sweeter!

Great finds, I found the same good luck token in a old farm field last year which I gave to the home owner
