Sorry fisherman....this isn't about what I caught this evening but what I ate.

Every September my Shrine Temple has a catfish fry before our regular meeting. For those of you who eat catfish, I apologize if your mouths start watering.

Here the catfish is getting a good coating of batter:


And in this shot you can see those hush puppies cooking away.


And here's the finished result:


Don't forget the main selection; catfish!


And here's a bunch of hungry Shriners enjoying their meal.


Oh yeah, here's a fellow that looks like he ought to pass on the meal....but guess what? He didn't!


A great time was had by all and nobody left hungry.

RR: On my plate is catfish, hush puppies, tartar sauce, hot sauce, white beans, and cole slaw. :P

CG: Ketchup on catfish? We gotta have a talk That's good ol' Louisianna Hot Sauce!

ED: This was breaded just right

Wes Wes Wes !!! I have not long been home from an exhausting day at work !! Didn't eat lunch > to busy ! Here I see one of my favorites Hush puppies and fried catfish , and for CG >> I love ketchup on my fried seafood

We have a car show today: hamburgers, hot dogs, roasted corn, ice cream, and an item I can't name here since this is a family site (and watched over by Moderators ) Bad thing is, they aren't free today but can be purchased at a nominal fee. If you're not doing anything today, stop by as it will be a really big show!
