I need a good canister or cave light and am willing to trade 4-5 days in a beach front or waterway front luxury condo for one. Anyone have one that's interested in a trade. I know there are lots of varieties, but bring all offers. I'll be specifically using it in the dark water rivers. I need a light that either mounts on the head or on the wrist to free the hands for metal detecting while underwater. Darren in NC can vouch for me.

Thanks,

you likely can buy a light cheaper than trading 4 or so days. LED lights are getting small. Check out deco stop The Deco Stop
for ideas of whats out there. Remember it does not matter how strong a light is if the viz is poor, all that light just reflects back.

I just bought this light off ebay for $20.00.Its better and brighter than any dive light.

He needs a true underwater light. I have used a 55 watt car headlight with a motorcycle battery in those rivers years ago when they didnt have bright underwater lights, and all I had was a 1 foot circle of orange from a foot away. The water I was using it in was fairly clear but like black coffee. Pitch black till you hit bottom with the light. He needs something like a Q beam but underwater. And true, if it is muddy, you have very little viz even with a powerful light. Rivers like the Cooper and the New can get zero viz. Not fun even with 1 million candlepower. You need to dive them when it has been a drought, like now! I have used a UK D4 and a C4 but the water was clearer than I explained. They are good and low priced, and out of the water will light up 500 feet away, underwater is a different story. but I am sure you really want some candlepower and long battery life. They are big bucks. Good luck.

Goldfinch is a seasoned diver. He knows he wants a canister light and he knows they're expensive. That's why he's making the trade. His offer of a beachfront condo is legit. I bartered with him last month and got an incredible condo/suite for my wife and I to enjoy our anniversary. It would have cost us $1200-1500 otherwise in Myrtle Beach. We had a great time. If you have a light you'd like to trade, no worries. Goldfinch will do you right.
