This was found behind a cemetery back in the spring. Could this belong to a head stone or some kind of vase type of thing? I think it's at least 5 inches long and maybe 3 1/2 inches in side. It's some kinda cast irn. Weight 1 pound.
Probably a broken top to a fence. I find them all the time outside a cemetery wall. I won't go in though that's against my own rules. The ones I find are cast iron to but it looks like the top of the fence is broken off and you found it.

I have to agree with BIMS, likely an old iron fence finial. :icon_scratch:
Back in the day, folks spent a lot of money honouring the departed.
