"Chalk The Walk"

Did you ever draw on the sidewalk when you were a kid?Well this is a festival held yearly in a small college town near where I live. They draw these really cool drawings in chalk. This form of art is called Madonnari. It is a 16th century form of art.The artist are mostly local artist.A nice day for it,no rain and lots of blue Sky's.

This is an annual festival. Next year I'm going to get my Daughter and my Grand Daughter to enter. They both are very talented.

I love it! Extraordinary talent.

Its fun to watch there creations come to life RR,and yes they are very talented. The one lady in the striped shirt,her husband is a sport announcer on the local TV. I never knew she was so talented.

Those are really awesome!

Yes they are very talented. They had people of all ages doing the drawings. They get all the chalk furnished. They give each artist a sponsor and the sponsor donates 100 dollars and the sponsor can give it to the artist or to the festival.Very cool event.
