Yesterday I was on here reading and posting and it was time to shut it down and start getting ready for my night job. Did the usual shower and shave, got dressed and was digging thru the change container so I could buy me some sodas at work and I found a 1936 Buffalo nickel. A lot better than my old Drive-in Theater swinging this morning. Nothing, and I mean nothing but pull tabs, bottle caps and wire. After an hour of trying in knee high weeds I went home.

You are certainly on the right track. Drive in theaters are killer spots to find silver. It's dark out and there are lots of kids and teens with change in their hands heading thru the gravel on there way to the consession stand. The first drive in theater in my area started out in 1944. I've found silver at hard hunted drive in's and one of my friends found tons of silver at a virgin drive in.

WOW. You found it before someone else did. What was that doing in circulation anyways ;D Kids robing their parents stash for a soda pop ;D
