Chase = Dump City!

Chase has officially become one of my primary dump banks, even without a coin counter. Branch after branch, I keep getting cut off after 1 or 2 orders. I hear things like we only did that 1 as a courtesy. This morning I was told that it’s getting too expensive ordering them week after week. This branch was ordering me 4 boxes of halves and 4 boxes of dimes, and only for 3 weeks. I had 3 other branches that ordered me much less say they couldn’t order anymore or that there would be a fee. (just to get me to go away)

I actually had 1 branch call corporate to see if they could limit me in how much I bring in. I could hear the sorrow in her voice as she said they told her that I am a customer and can deposit however much I like and they must accept it. This was after only having dumped 2 boxes there, I plan on now dumping 4 boxes every Thursday at this branch.

There are 2 branches that have known cherry pickers, they are getting a few boxes a week too!
If they don’t want to pay to order me boxes, they’ll just pay to ship them out!

We have a mortgage with Chase and I get treated better at banks where I have $100-$300 in there just to avoid the monthly fees.

I have declared war on Chase!

Have you tried offering donuts, candy, cookies, etc? Order banks are the life line for me in terms of this hobby. I can't afford to lose them. Also it may be another CRHer who may be screwing it up for you. Like some guy ordering and dumping at the same branch. I had a guy doing the same at a branch nearby. I offered to help get rid of the guy. I told them it was simple. Just give him my dumps and he will be gone after a while. They seemed to be cool with the idea. Haven't been back there but I'm sure they'll give him my dumps. There is a way to re-crimp wrap.

Ya chase dose not like me I only dumped there twice 2000 in halves and now I go in to dump and they tell me the coin machine is broken I had a friend call and ask if they had one and they said yes we do come on in.....

LOL. Chase is my dump bank too. They pulled the same BS on me. They would never order me boxes and I have a business acct with them Both our chases have cherry picker tellers. I dump 3-4k in halves a week on them. I was dumping dimes. quarters, nickels and pennies but that was a pain to reroll and I found a CU that had a coin machine so I just dump my halves on them.

Funny....Chase is my Pickup Bank....I dont think any of them in my areas have coin machines.....thou there are about 5 WellsFargos with machines..and they could careless what i bring in..i just try and switch it up sometimes

The Chase branches that will be getting dumped on most are in Westchester and Rockland Counties in NY.

I don't mind them being for-profit, that's why banks exist, to make a profit.

What I mind is that they make a lot of money off interest on a mortgage and don't give any special treatment.

What really sucks is these Chases are the only banks around here I've found that I could get Garda boxes from and they've produced consistantly. Not great, but few skunks. Surprising because around here Garda also picks up from TD, a popular dump site because of the Penny Arcade....

Chase is the worst bank for CRH. I would say more, but i dont want to upset the moderator. I had $45000 in there and asked for 1 box aweek. THey said it would cost me $15 bucks a box. So I moved the money into a new bank that gets me coins all the time. Good luck and HH.

Lol i live in westchester and have been getting dumps at chase's so that now i have to keep track of which ones. Luckily some have warned me so i stay away.

Chase has been a great buy bank for me for dimes, and I don't even have an account there. Of course, I'm just picking up $100 or $200 at a time. I don't have a standing order there.

good...far far away from me. not really worried about polluting my particular pick up bank, worried about local policies becoming nationwide. sure that'll happen eventually to me as chase is my only pickup.

Me too...I find dimes there about everytime I get them, plus I scored big on some Silver Halves before...I dont think it has squat to do with "What Bank"..its all location location location

Ah, i just opened an account there! for me this has been citibank. did not even order me 1 single box of halves, and cut me off after 2 boxes of dimes. unbelievable. i was so mad.

Chase is my dump bank as well. I have asked multiple branches around here if they would order me a box of halves and all have said no. Since they won't supply my halves, I will make my dumps there. The nice thing is that there are dozens of Chase branches around here (including multiple instances of branches on opposite corners ) so I can spread my dumps around quite a bit.
