Cherry Pickers Guide VS Red Book?

Should i buy the Red book 2013 or the Cherry pickers guide?

Whats the difference?

Start with red book - I have both, and the cherry pickers guide is pretty bland, until you start digging into spec errors, ect.

Red book has about 100x more information, but the cherry pickers guide has VERY in depth explanations, but on limited topics. Specifically, errors.

If money is a issue - you can basically get a red book from any year - not much has changed since the 90s. I picked up a coin book for free at the coin shop, and it contains all the info I usually look for ( key dates, and mintages )

Well I got the red and blue book but I find myself using the blue book more often because I am more interested in what I could sell coins to a dealer for, rather than what I would charge if I became a dealer. The values in the red book seem far too high, especially for wheat cents, which is the main section I look at.
