Ok heres an update so far just talked to RR and she said the wind was starting to twist those pines around bad enough they were goin ahead and heading across the road to get away from them she and Alden are doin ok they still have some time and they are ready just movin away from where if the trees come down they'll be ok!
Nice visit and she will call or come on here when she can. Since its not really due til later today I dont think she'll be back on here til later after the wind slows down! So we love ya guys and be careful!

She said Shane has gone to the Blue Ridge so he is ok, dont know about anyone else! If anyone knows anything let us know!

Thanks Evy for the wake up call...nice chat!! Love the countdown pic...keep em coming. Power is flickering, and we getting ready to get out from under the trees...so much to going to the uncle's down the road. The farm house is all clear of trees and generator is already connected ready to go. Love y'all...hope everyone else down here is safe and sound.

The drive back from Missouri was interesting. LOTS of northbound traffic going past us as we headed south. All Rayville hotels were full, and RV parking. People were going by us in groups of 10-15 vehicles even as far north as Little Rock. Motels were filling up fast.

Only one rain band here in NE LA so far, and that was yesterday. Just cloudy here. River Rat said about a half hour ago that she was still home and the lights were flickering. Let us know when things, die down, RR!

Good to see you, WSD! Dan said he might change his mind about going to the hunt if there was going to be a golf competition where he could show off his new clubs and bag!!

Hi all
Just wanted to let everyone know we're having fun now (NOT) the wind is blowing 30 something with gust at 60 - 70 mph wind. The rain is coming in sheets but they say it going to get worse later today. The police comformed one tornado in Gonzales don't know how much damage there is from it, hope one was hurt. We're praying this thing just dissipates and leaves. As I am typing the wind is laying the trees over bad I will update later if we still have electric.

If any of our La friends have power I sure wish they would all get on and let us know they are OK. I'm about 500 miles inland from that himmacaine and they are saying we are ging to get some heavy rain and local flooding from it the next two days! Monty

My daughter in Mobile said they had a lot of rain and some wind but mostly tornado watches.My son,Brian,who is 30mi north of Pasagoula,Ms,said they must have been between the bands.They had just a little wind and not much rain.Hope RR and Cheesecake made out ok and anyone else down that way.I'm sure they will let us know as soon as they can.

Hello all....
The outside storm bands have just hit Shreveport and we expect winds 50 or so miles per hours with rain from hell and possible tornados. Tonight until 7am in the morning we will get hit with high winds and water. Power lines hopefully will hold up with the wind blowing through the night. We will see how it goes. We're on standby for bad weather here with the Marshalls office and the Homeland Security group and my wife and I don't really want to hear the phone ring tonight. She got back from New Orleans last night and was wore out. At least she got some sleep today. I haven't heard from RickyP since about 11am this morning. They're probably okay but may be out of power or phone lines. If I hear something, I will let you know.
