BB - It's just a regular cd player like in any car.I only want to use it in the car.I have a complete system here at home,no trouble.Now,there is a port on the side of the radio that says 'MP 3'.I assumed that you can plug a mp3 player into that.I just need something that will go in that cd slot that I can put a cassette into it.

When I said I had a complete system at home,I do,except,the only way I have to convert a cassette to a cd is through the computer.And I don't know how to do that.Lance bought a cassette player that fits into the computer tower and you pop in your cassette and you have to listen to it but it downloads it to your hard drive then you burn a cd from that.The only problem is Lance sits down to show me and speeds thru it and says "there" and off to drive again.He does it so fast,I have no idea how it's done.I can go from cassette to cassette,from phono to cassette from cd to cassette from vhs to cassette,but using this computer baffles me.

If I bring the truck(has cassette),the cb in it will get out just over 50mi.That's pretty close to overseas from Ks!

They said vynal records were dead too,but they are coming back because the sound is better than cds.I have always stayed away from cds because one little scratch and that's the end of it.They do not appear to be durable at all.Plus,some ,many,of my tapes have over 30 songs which a cd will not hold.O well,my tapes and me will probably succomb at the same time anyway.A lot of my music was recorded from old records and I'm not sure if any of my family really wants my music.Lance does want some of it(old time country) but not really interested in the pop/classical of 20's,30's,40's,50's,60's.

Dang, I knew there had to be a good reason I have kept over 5,000 albums. And still listen to them. Drives my wife nuts I keep 4 turn tables, but they are good ones and I just can't part with any.

I have a turn table and love it, not many cassetts and even fewer CD's only cause I cant afford them but I do have all players and I got a ton of all kinds of music!

TC I just am getting more excited each day! I will probably only get worse!
