1st video great. 2nd Rowdy Bunch at the opry house, 3rd I love watching the long horns and how the drivers kept them in line, did you know the trail boss was from Enid, Ok. she was that tiny little pretty blonde in the pony tail, there was Pawnee Bill also, does anyone remember the parents trying to explain to the kiddos that the one cow was just tired of walking and trying to get a piggy back ride, that it was not hurting the other one

The rowdy bunch went to opera? lol

The Octoberfest is October the 11th for 2008. We will miss the cattle drive. At least some of us will. The next one is 49 years away.
We will have a cowchip throwing contest though. That will be a lot more personal with the cattle any way.
More details in the other thread on the first week of May.

Bull "Shifting" should be a contest. From what I have seen on here there is a lot of Bull "Shifting" going on. Everyone had better wear boots too, because it gets pretty deep. M nty

Cyn, usually it becomes exponential about the last 30 days. 63.

RR, if you can get the right spin on it you can do 40-50 yards. Of course, the dry ones fly farther but are a bit more erratic.

hmmm can't recall as I have ever been in a cow chip throwing contest....I can remember us throwing them AT each other as kids but never a contest! lol I gotta pay attention to these tips.....right texture....hmmm what is the right texture??

Too dry and it flies apart. Best used for kindling. Too wet and it wants to stay in your hand. It needs a bit of moisture for weight to go for the distance.

Hey ME......I picked up a tesoro Cortez and like it . I just wish I had more time to use it. When it is persistant with the ID it is spot on but it lies to and so I dig everything.....(still Learning). I really wanted to attend the Hunt at Noodles but had prior commentments, but I will make plans to be in Kansas again.
