Got to hunt for an hour or so this afternoon. The creek finally receded from last weeks storms (tornadoes for you Painter??). Wish we could have stayed longer, but the sun was glaring on the rocks making it difficult to tell anything apart. If you know what something is, please let me know!!

A knife? Don't know if you can tell in the pic, but the bevel seems to be ground. One of my favorite tools I've found so far.

Small chopper or knife?

Don't know if this originally had another wing and it was reworked. If so, the blade angle seems odd.

Super cool little tool! Worked all the way around. One end is blunt, the other more of a point.

These items are from a few days ago, the day after we had severe storms. Couldn't hunt the creek, so these are from the corn field above it (third flood terrace). Once again, tools of some sort, a hammerstone, cool material, and a broken blade.

This is the piece from the lower left. I don't think this is natural, scalloped all the way around. It's not chert, seems softer and has a "chalky" feel.

Preform? Pretty color, white with a lavender hue. one side is not worked, the other is only worked from the ridge down.

Broken blade

Repurposed broken point. Love finding these! Base is gone.

Another preform? Seems to be worked around the edges, flat on back.
