Christmas Tree

Does anyone remember where the old "Christmas Tree" marker was in relation to Douglas and Brooks park

I hunt those beaches quite often but don't remember seeing a Christmas tree marker, is it from years ago?

I remember it from years back...I also remember it being swept away and scattered all over the beach years ago after one of the storms. 1/4 mile north of parking area.

Wait a minute....I could swear I saw the remains of the christmas tree at about 2015 or 2016. I cant remember but maybe it was Matthew that finally took it out !! I think there was an old black man that really got on the jewlrey and treasure to the south....he was there a lot when I was in high school and I had always herd he was the Douglass beach king !! I'm sure hes gone by now. He was a pretty well known character in the 80s.
