Need assistance excavating

I found something and I’m seeking assistance or advice on how to excavate the site.. it’s related to Jean leffite and the leaning oak tree, upon discovering I found tabacco encased in clay over 6ft down and a marker. Much more evidence discovered which suggests something is buried below.

I can't imagine that the leaning oak tree and Jean Lafitte treasure are in any way related. But who knows what you might find. Keep us posted.

Just as a leaning tree reference this oak would be just a seedling at the time Jean Lafitte torched his place and sailed away.
My thoughts would be why leave your stash if you torch the place, you're basically saying goodbye.

Depending on clime and tree type the stump shown will have an average life post cut.
5 years? 10?
A local logger or forester or wood cutter might give clues.

A fresh cut made across the shown stump will give age of the prior tree at it's death/cutting. Add a few years for the stump setting idle.

Be fair if it isn't an oak ; to compare growth rates of different species when measuring it against the leaner oak.

Plantain and possibly other edible plants there.
They may have existed in generations prior as well.

Hello I’ve discovered something I need help. It’s buried around 30ft down and all lines up to old history. It was marked by a tree and appears to be old swamp wood marker not from local area. I have a lot more evidence to support my claim and need assistance
