Metal Detecting
For those who have used both, has anyone noticed a difference between the two when it comes to gold sensitivity?

I know the Cibola runs about 4kHz higher than the uMax, but does the circuitry make that much of a difference?

I know the Compadre trumps them both, but I'm asking about the Cibola and the uMax.

well i guess this is where it gets to brass tax in my opinion the tejon would be the likely candidate to be best on gold as far as land machine would be the tejon due to the 17khz another thing is the internal sensitivity on how they were set up in the factory, i bought a compadre for my father inlaw and he loves his but my vaquero will take it any catorgory, when i hunt tot lots i use all metal and you can't do that with the compadre and the umax machines which are mostly 10khz other than the sidewinder which is the same as the compadre of 12khz, i hohnestly think its all about set up with your machine and which machine you have at the time of the find but there is a lot of different factors involved too, just my opinion
