Civil War Artillery Button

[Colosprings73]

Hey All,

Went out today with Screwynewy and another member of our Raleigh club and found this Civil War Artillery Button.

First one for me .
The back of the button still has fabric attached to the shank .

Found in Raleigh, NC.

Toast,

The other guys found a back to a watch and that is about it.

I found another button, or we think, but is not Civil war however is from time period or ealier. I will half to post it on "What is it?" for some clarification.

The site has been very good to Screwy who has found V nickels, half cents, buttons and I think that is where he found his Silver Trade Dollar.

It is 6 acres which still holds more goodies for sure.
