Mill Springs promoted as site for national park » Features » The Wayne County Outlook

I grew up in Wayne County, Ky and always loved the historic old mill and park grounds on the Wayne County side of the battleground. It is a beautiful place that was the site of a horrific battle. Forces commandeered an old farmhouse to use as a hospital, and the story was always that it is haunted by the ghosts of soldiers who perished as a result of their wounds.

Always a great thing when sites like these are preserved....

What a beautiful place.

I just got my new lisc plate. Good when we can save a place from development.
