Civil War permission 2 firsts

This site is pretty close to home for me. The site of some action during Wilson’s raid and there is at least one fort on this property, possibly more because there were three in close proximity to each other. The fort is near a river/train bridge, close to the river I found my first ever musket ball. A couple hours later I was on the other side of the tracks and found my first 3 ringer and about 20ft away I found my second!

I've found musketballs, but never any three ringers. I'll have to hunt further north for those. Still waiting for my first, so congrats on two in one hunt!

Civil war lead is always a good find. Both your minie's were fired, not sure about the round ball. I'd definitely keep hunting that area hard. Most of my CW bullets are drops here in N. GA.

Those 2 with the rings are actually carbine bullets and not your average 3 ringers! Those are better finds than a 3 ringer. Look like Spencer carbine bullets. Nice finds!
