What does a claim marker look like?

Most are pvc pipes like in this picture. There is also a USGS quad corner marker in the picture (silver thing in the rocks). Thought I'd post this one so you can see both. The PVC pipes are typical Arizona claim corner markers, and are required to be at the 4 corners of the claim. If your out walking around, be carefull as you can't always see the claim markers from the road, or everywhere on the claim. A lot of times they'll post a PVC pipe on the road marking the claim, but not always, so be carefull.. If you move one of them, or the USGS markers, well....I don't feel sorry for you.
