My friend said he has a 1700s bottle found in a shipwreck, any info ? He said there is no markings, is there anywhere there might be a makers mark? Or something

A picture of the base of the bottle would be helpful.
 
I don't believe it's from the 1700s. It has a tooled top not an applied top. Looks just like the many amber beers I have dug through the years. On the date, I'm going with GaRebel but will add another 10 years, 1870 to 1890s

I wonder if it was actually good beer, or just some
Skunky hangover beer.
