Can anyone identify these clips or buckles? I found them in a man's jewelry box I purchased in a local estate auction.

I am not sure they are called clips or buckles or something else. They seem to be made of copper and are small; the largest is 1 3/4 inch long and 1 inch in height.

Thanks!

Rusty

Look kind of like something that you would display on a sash or shoulder belt (think school crossing guard)

I searched ebay and PicClick for sash clip and slide but I am unable to find anything resembling these. The lack of a clamp or buckle on the back eliminates most items I have viewed such as money clips and similar items.

British I surmise, thats King George's image the Royal seal (?) middle. Look like something that would go on a sash or cross belt. Military? Band ? Special society?

Thanks! The problem I am having in researching them is that I am not sure what to call them.

Many of the female western style belts were put together with those kind of plates with metal loops in between.
