Had a really nice find with my F2 today! I dug up an old coal scrip issued by the Consolidation Coal Company Inc for their coal camp in Dunham, Kentucky! Dunham was set up on June 24th, 1913 and was only a small community, absent from most maps. It was about 10 miles northeast of Whitesburg, KY, where part of present day Jenkins is now located. From what I can gather looking online, this coal scrip registers as an R6 on the Edkins rarity scale, which means there are only an estimated 50-74 known to exist today!

Very nice find. I love coal script. I am originally from very close to where that camp was. I love old script and would really love to dig some! Good Job.

Awesome find! I live in the middle of very old coal fields myself and that is on my most wanted list!
