That's pretty nice. It looks like a die half for a screw press or hydraulic press.

I may take another metalworking class next semester. I did lately get one of the components I needed to try and make one of my own dies. I also got a decent amount of non-toxic bronze.

I like the crack in the die. I guess that's to make the press coins look like the old Potosi cob planchet cracks! Just a nostalgic holdover.

What were you needing to make a die? I may be able to help....
