I have a theory....

I noticed that when my Deus II coil lost power after using it a day and a half, turning off the remote would not power off the headphones. I am wondering if the coil keeps a conection to both the headphones and the remote, which drains the coil battery faster since it's connected to two devices.. and.. if you are using the MI-6 with audio through the headphones, does that also drain the coil even faster?

A few people on some of the Facebook forums are having the coil power die after a short use.

Has anyone else noticed this?

The SMF coil doesn't seem to last nearly as long as the Deus1 coils.
But I'll just charge it before every hunt and carry my backup charge block.

As it should, too. Its doing a lot more work.

But the coil has always been the first bit to run out of juice. That is where most of the processing is done on the Deus. The remote is just that... a control. The thing it is controlling is the microprocessor in the coil that really running the show.

Especially running Deep High Conductor.....coil will die at around 4 hours.....lower frequencies require more juice.
