coin counter gives 58% return

makes me want to dump there...
but when i searched td banks coin counter, i found stories of coming up short! i am skeptical to dump hundreds there... also with the half bag only holding 100
. i cant see going there with 500 and having them change the bag 5 times.

Now that i have learned a few tricks i often leave td with more money then i started with. 2 quik basic points . Always fill the bag once to get the rejects not making it to the tray [once also limits them getting tired of changing bags] and NEVER dump dimes.

also shake the top tray as some coins get hung up in there. many times i do this and hear coins drop into the hopper. also check the tray but then check the PVC chute that leads to the tray. i have found many goodies sitting in there. i found this out when i dumped a bunch of halves. i checked the tray before dumping......nothing. but when the machine rejected a couple halfs a bunch of coins and tokens and foreigns that were in the chute were pushed out. i reached up into the chute and pulled some more coins. most days i dump i find something at TD or i get more than i dumped. however i must say dimes are risky because if the machine isn't calibrated just right some dimes are counted as pennies.

here is my story:
the other day i go into my dump bank, dump exactly 497 dollars in to it, it stops part way, and the dime & half bag r full! a teller comes and replaces the bag (and gives my some foriegn coins from the machine), and i continue w/ my buisness. as i dump the coins into the machine, it sounds as if halves were flying at 100 mph and hitting the front door of the machine...i continue dumping, thinking they will have to clean up the mess later when another bag fills up w/ someone else, and i get my voucher, and it reads 669.90 dollars instead of 497! 172 dollar gain! course i tell them, and the will audit the bags the said, and take whatever back that it gave me extra. but, i felt good, since i was honest, and returned the $$$ as opposed to pocketing it. in return, a few days later i found a folded up $20$ bill on the side walk! this was my experience.
