Coin? Medal? Pin? Token?

Need some assistance on identification.

This piece is about the size of a half dollar. The back does not seem to have any writing on it. Top side is loaded with beautiful detail.

Any ideas? Can’t find anything like it in the web.

Like Don said, not a coin or token. Usually those will have writing or design on both sides. Seems like yours has a design on one side, so I am guessing pin or medal of some sort.
