That’s neat and it looks good to me but, strictly, the coin used to make the button is an 8 skilling from Norway, not Denmark. At that time, both countries were under one rule and Norway remained part of the Danske Kingdom until 1814. They shared the same currency but produced their coins independently.

As it says in the ‘comments’ section at the link Charlie provided, the Danish and Norwegian versions differed slightly in design. The Danish version (pictured) has the date divided by a heart and a small flower at each side. The Norwegian version has a continuous date with a 'bough' on one side and crossed hammers on the other (the mintmark for Oslo, in Norway). Like your coin button:
