Looks like a 1777 or 177? KG III copper . I can see what looks like "77" or at least the third digit space "7" under the date line. The "OR" is from "GEORGE", the "IA" is from "BRITANIA"

buy amonia at safeway or a local grocery store to uncover the details on your coin. JuJu and I use amonia to clean our coins and it works out really well! :)

If you see enough of them without wear etc.. then even a small piece of the puzzle can be blown up in your minds eye. Sometimes I shock myself with tiny pieces of junk, that immediately becomes small pieces of a larger ID(able) object. I may have only seen it once in a book or handled once before. These are the ones which surprise me. I wish I was as good at school with my revision & exams ::)
