Coins, 1944 marked 30.06 casing and a you've got to be kidding today

Went to three places. First, I want to thank all of you for depositing your aluminum shreds everywhere.

Dug a handful of Lincolns and Zincolns, a few dimes, a 30.06 casing stamped 1944, best piece of the day and....wait for it....

from my front lawn....a disc to a disc brake with the metal still attached to the back. Now, come on, how did that get there? I've lived here since 1977 and
we did not lose any of those in the grass.

Do you live near me and been digging in the same places?!?!?!?
I thought maybe there was someone trying to grow aluminum trees by seeding all my hunting areas (including public parks!)...............
And my weird find was an oil filter 10 ft. behind the left field fence of a local little league field...........!!!

slaw is some of my favorite food ! I feel your pain.

Aluminum comes from rocks. Or the mothership.

Heck hunting days like that happen to all us hunters sometimes, just don't give up.

I've been coinshooting, oh the horror of it, the last week or so. Went to the big east coast gem and mineral show in Jersey and just haven't been to the CW sites lately. Thought I'd try for some easier, local pickings.
