Sunday I went out to a local park that I've been to multiple times. I've found a 1925 Mercury, a handful of Wheats and a Sales Tax Token there in the past so I really feel like there's some good coins in the ground. Well, I had found some Wheats and even hit a spill of 4 Wheats, but that was it. Then, I get a really good 29 on my F75. I decide to dig it because nickels hit at 30 and sometimes they will go up or down one. It sounded like it was real shallow, but I couldn't find it. I got a little frustrated and dug really deep with my Predator. When I pulled the shovel swing up and out of the ground, a big gold ring came flying out! My first real ring! My first GOLD!!!

A little while later, I'm showing my hunting partner where I found it, and I get another solid 29. Of course I dig this one! Barely 2 inches down is my 2nd GOLD RING OF THE DAY!!! OMG!!!

The first ring turned out to be 6g 10k with what appears to be real Onyx and 6 real little diamonds. The smaller ring turned out to be 2g 14k. What a crazy weekend! I went coinshooting Saturday and end up with my first CW bullet, a 2 Ringer. Then Sunday I go coinshooting and end up with first 2 Rings / Gold! Coinshooting - I'm doing it wrong. :laughing7:.

Congratulations on some nice rings! This is why I am an anything-shooter! I don't care what I dig, all I ask for is one that is different, cool, interesting, or old. To each their own and everything else to...ME.:laughing7: If only it were that simple.

My favorite find and I know your heart skipped a beat or two! WTG! :hello2:
