Got my Pioneer 202 on July 3 of 2008, and kept track of my digging. I ended up with 726 coins for a total of$76.73, 2 silver rings, 2 silver Rosies, 5 Wheats, 8 marbles, and an assortment of odds and ends. My strangest find was a plastic jefferson nickel with the word COPY on the back, it came out of a multiple coin hole.
I had a great time, and really enjoy the sunlight and fresh air. I am not afraid to use the discriminator, and enjoy fast hunts where I try to hit the hot spots and move on to another location, using Confederate Cavalry tactics of fast hit and run digs, mixed with Kung-Fu discrimination techniques.
I enjoy quarters only hunts, I found 202 this year, and am setting a goal of 1,000 quarters for 2009. I'll see you out in the field, good luck!
