Well the weather did not cooperate much, high winds and low temps equal miserable conditions. Luckily I had some rubber gloves John and I used to keep our hands warm and dry. The ground was wet and muddy but we didn't really care we were hunting no matter what. We were dressed warm enough and we waited until about 1pm for it to warm up to 36 degrees.
One of my finds was a homemade lead button, kinda neat. John dug what looks like a carved cross? We visited a few land owners and got permission to hunt some other property. We are fairly certain we have located another camp. We will find out in the next few weeks. Enjoy the photo's and I hope everyone had some luck over the weekend.

Good times ,nice digs.

Great handfull of bullets!

The lead button looks like it was formed over an old button back?

Looks like a great day out despite the cold... :)

Great finds !!! Nice selection of bullets :)

Nice finds! Looks like you are on a good spot. Me and Gribnitz got out Sunday as well and I know what you are saying with the weather. This weekend looks allot better.

Alan

I don't mind cold, and I don't mind it wet. Just can't take the combination.

I'd do it to find relics like that though!

Nice work.

Nice finds TSG, good luck at that new camp! HH, Mike

Nice finds...I would kill for wet and muddy ground. The ground here is dry and rock hard frozen...

Alan, it wouldn't take much to improve the weather from last Sunday! I think the cold biting 25 to 30 mph wind was the worse part of it. But I just kept my back to the wind and that helped. Good luck to you and Grib this coming weekend. Tim

That's a lot of lead! Thanks for the post & pictures.
