Well the weather did not cooperate much, high winds and low temps equal miserable conditions. Luckily I had some rubber gloves John and I used to keep our hands warm and dry. The ground was wet and muddy but we didn't really care we were hunting no matter what. We were dressed warm enough and we waited until about 1pm for it to warm up to 36 degrees.
One of my finds was a homemade lead button, kinda neat. John dug what looks like a carved cross? We visited a few land owners and got permission to hunt some other property. We are fairly certain we have located another camp. We will find out in the next few weeks. Enjoy the photo's and I hope everyone had some luck over the weekend.

Nice Civil war Relics as usual! But one thing about digging those two piece buttons.......They fall apart or get crushed when digging them! Nothing like digging those old one piece Buttons........Great finds.............Hh

Those are nice to find, they are almost always in better shape. It sad but it seems that several of the buttons from this spot do not fare to well. I think it's due to the fertilizer.
