Collector's Daughter Amber Alert

Amber Thomas is an avid head hunter from Texas. She does not post here, but rather mostly over on the arrowheadology forum. Nonetheless, she's a fellow artifact hunter and a heck of a nice woman. Here teenage daughter went missing on 12/7 and, as you can imagine, her world is upside down and she fears the worse. Here are some photos. This is being posted on several forums.

A friend of Amber who posts to arrowheads.com posted this a short time ago.
Also, if you use Facebook, the Facebook group Artifact Addictions is holding raffles to raise funds, although I just went to their page and could not find them yet. Also, Amber M. Thomas has her own Facebook page where she will post updates. Just search her name after you log in.



"A fund has been set up to help pay for finding Mearrett. A PayPal account has been established and donations can be made to findmearrett@gmail.com. I desperately feel that the family needs to hire a Private Investigator who specializes in lost children ASAP. The cost for such an investigator starts at $3000. Of course, there are also thousands of photocopies being made and distributed throughout Texas. I know they are also trying to muster a reward for information leading to her being found. I know so many of us wish there was more we could do to help Amber find her missing daughter and now we have the ability to do more than just share links and pray."


Amber is a big fan of the various Texas pay digs and has built a nice collection of Texas points. You only have to be a human being to understand a parent's life can never be the same when there is no resolution, no answer. Let's hope and pray that the answer is one that brings a great sigh of relief.

Also, my mistake, they have not treated it as an Amber Alert because no proof of abduction; it is being treated as a runaway, but as is often the case, neither parents nor close friends of the young lady can find reasons to buy into that.

I don't believe there needs to be proof of abduction for an Amber Alert if a child is missing over 24 hours

15 years old & Missing since the 7th.

I would think Amber alerts would not be wasted on 18 year old adults
