Close where I found a KG I Friday I also found a bullet. This is really old property, I'm hunting close to a house that was built in 1780. At first I wrote it off as buck-shot but after cleaning it up I saw a sprue and mold line so I'm thinking it's older. It appears that the bullet was inserted into the barrel with the sprue first, pointing to the back of the barrel. On the opposite side it appears that there's an indentation of the push rod. I measured it and it's about .48" but is somewhat oblong so it's not perfectly round.

My father muzzleloader hunted, I used to help him make lead bullets when I was a kid so this looks familiar. Also, hunting has not been allowed in this park for over 100 years.

This is in the wrong place and I don't know how it got here. I was in the "today's find" category when I posted. It does not look like I can delete it or move it on my own. Sorry!

Muzzleloading round ball for sure. No way however to say how old it is, they are still made and used today. I always like to find these!
