Colonial Copper

[romeo-1]

I went back to the fields that I recon'd on Saturday and started my systematic sweep looking for a site. I know that there will be a site on these fields as the conditions are just too perfect. I did manage a couple keepers so I was happy but I did not find the site...yet.

Left the field with a French sized musketball, a George II copper and a few rocks.

Thanks for looking.

Cool copper! Can't wait to see more things you find at the site. Congrats.

I think it is a bone tool...not sure yet.

Other side really sucks...worse than this side. You can make out the profile but that is basically it. Lots of green crust which just doesn't come off.
