Well after about a month of chasing Ghosts I finally came across a nice 1794 encampment. Had a little problem with the two detectors because of a microwave tower near by but I did manage to find quit a bit. I'm going back this weekend. Took about 4 hours but I did pretty good. The two buttons you see on the bottom are French, the plain ones are Prussian. The decorated shoe buckles are French officer. And you can see the 28th French Reg were there. The Big buttons say Republic of France.....
Few questions though....
1. The big ugly looking thing is made of lead and looks like it broke off of something. I want to say this is a flag staff top... Or maybe a tent pole of some type. The lack of modern stuff, besides the Nazi 10 Riechfenning, I would say this came from the encampment.
2. Another lead item I found... Its all twisted up but it had three arrows on it (one is missing) and looked like it hung from something. Don't want to open it up and break it.... OK that is all for now, still looking for Hitler’s gold, LOL.
3. The big number 5.... It attached to something I really would like to know what. Has a lip on one end and a place that a screw attached?? Any Ideas.

Looking forward to seeing what else you find there!
And this was all on a stubble field, loosing about 3 inches to the stubble. Hope it's plowed for this weekend.. Who knows what I missed
