The following two videos are some of my 2010 discovery's on a colonial site. It begins with me not realizing what kind of site I was on when I started to recover early iron, many buttons, and eventually 4 pieces of 1700's silver. These clips start in early 2010 and continue through the end of the year at the same site. I have been back twice this year and recovered some pewter, more buttons, brass, and a 1778 2 reale, a worn 1/2 reale, and an 1850 half dime. What a site it has been! :icon_thumright:

I did want to extend my appreciation to everyone at the Net for being so kind and helpful. I have learned a great deal and have been in awe on many of the recovery's since discovering this site. :notworthy:

I never intended to share the clips but my wife and son enjoy giving me a hard time about some of my reactions in the clips so what the heck. ;D But hey, you either have a passion for this stuff or you don't! :icon_thumright:

I passionately enjoyed watching your Colonial recoveries on video. :headbang: This is proof that Western Kentucky is killer for Colonial. :icon_thumleft: Cherish this site for all of its worth, my friend. :notworthy: :headbang: :hello2:

Freakin amazing finds. I loved your videos and would hunt with you anytime! Your passion just made me smile. It felt like I was on the hunt with you and I just kept saying over and over, "WOW!" My hands would have been shaking on those finds too - congrats.

You are funny, you remind me of me. This is the best hobby in the world.

Nothing compares to waking an old coin up from a dirt nap.

Your video was fun to watch.

That's the most Spanish silver I have ever seen come out of one site.

now that's totally a site I would love to be on right about now..congrats! :icon_thumright:

Enjoyed your video immensly. Great finds, but, wow, it almost looked like the holes were chiseled out. Tough ground.

Thanks to everyone for the kind comments and PM's.....can't wait to get back out there. :icon_thumright:

Very nice video and awesome silver. Was that a corn field, bean field?

Tykit....I was able to get in the field early 2010 and it appeared to have had beans planted the previous year. They planted beans spring 2010 and I'm not sure what their plans are for this year. But it also appears the field had corn in it a few years ago by the remnants of cobs. No plowing here, just worked with a disc.

Tks..

Nice finds .... congrats !
