Colonial Pewter Bridal Rosette?

[sheep.dog]

Found this today in a spot that produced a KGII and a crotal bell yesterday.
Am I right in thinking its a colonial pewter bridle rosette?

Nice find. Sorry I can’t help with the id.

Colonial or just after that from the Federal period.
