Coming Clean

To all the member of Treasure Net.

I, Shermanvill Illinois, used performance-enhancing
drugs from 2005-07 while I was metal detecting.

When I arrived here at Treasure Net, I felt an enormous
amount of pressure. I felt like I had all the weight of the
world on top of me and I needed to perform, and perform
at a high level every day.

I feel much better now.

Coming clean is the right thing to do.
How about you?

Aha dont let the pressure get to you, if you dont find as much as you partners,you will always be accepted here on tnet.

Some weeks I would go throught 10 -15 bottles of
mineral supplement.

Did not even have to take a detector with me; my body
was in tune with the forces of nature. My body became
the detector.

I have also tried performance-enhancing drugs while metal detecting...

...but the performance was not enhanced! :icon_scratch:

OMG!!!

Sherm, although I am quite shocked by your admision of "enhancing" I think I speak for everyone when I say that I understand. It took an enormous amount of courage to admit your mistake & I have a boatload of respect for you sir! Dont look back & ignore the whispers & snickers you will surely overhear.........this will pass with time. Hold your head high, we are all proud of you!

I so was not expecting to see that when i opened this thread. please, please consider putting a warning up when you have scary pics like that up. im still shivering from sight.

I too must confess to using performance enhancing supplements, I drink all the vitamin water I can get.

I use drugs too when I md. It helps me pay closer attention to what i'm doing.

It's a good thing to admit what you did but it may well keep you out of the TNet hall of fame. Of course they might go ahead and let you in and place an asterisk beside all of your records. Either way we are here for you bud. You might consider removing that buffed out pic of yourself before they have some incriminating evidence against you that you will not be able to deny..... :wink:

I agree on the analogy to the extent, by rules of common morality, they are cheating.
