I just finished an afternoon hunt in Lido Key near Sarasota and was walking back.

This guy approaches me and I started holding my breath because who knows what his view of the hobby is.

To my surprise he said "I have been watching you out there and I want to thank you for removing the trash from our beach.
We really appreciate that!" :headbang:

That sure brightened my day up more the the .42 I found. :icon_thumright:

Thanks for picking up that trash!

Earlier this year I handed about 12 metal tent pegs to one of the lifeguards at Ft DeSoto beach and asked her if she wanted to share them with other beach goers with umbrellas. She lit up a big smile and thanked me for getting sharp metal off the beach. I have found a lot of stuff that could cut a foot and ruin a nice beach day for someone.

I do the same in soccer fields.

Good job cleaning up the trash. I removed 2 halves of a pair of scissors that someone planted point up about halfway out of the ground on a sled riding hill. There's some sick people out there.

Nice job. At some people see MDing is a benefit to the community.
